(SURPRISING, IS WHAT’S INSIDE!)
This recipe has two main ingredients: chicken and potatoes but we have hidden the chicken inside the mashed potatoes! The moment you get a bite of your bite, you will taste the yummy fried chicken inside!
Secondly, this recipe uses a little oil so that you do not gain much weight! A healthy snack and easy to prepare for parties!

You will need a meat grinder to grind the boneless chicken that you will be using.
Others include your kitchenware! Pans, bowls, platters, spoons and you of course! All set? Let’s start cooking!
INGEREDIENTS FOR STUFFING
Boneless chicken 250-300 grams or 2 cups (ground in meat grinder)
Black pepper ½ teaspoon
Monosodium glutamate/
Chinese salt 1 pinch
Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon
Table salt Add to taste
Oil 2 tablespoons
INGREDIENTS FOR COATING
Potatoes 2 medium sized (boiled and mashed)
Fresh coriander (chopped) 1 tablespoon
Ground coriander or cilantro 1 teaspoon
Black pepper ½ teaspoon
Salt Add to taste
Oil 4 to 5 tablespoons (for shallow frying)
Corn flour ½ cup or 68 grams
Lollipop sticks A few (optional)
METHOD:
- First marinate the ground chicken with black pepper, Chinese salt, ketchup and table salt and put aside for 15 minutes
- Put oil in pan and fry the chicken. Cover with lid and cook on slow flame till tender. Place aside to cool down
- Put boiled and mashed potatoes in a bowl. Add fresh coriander, cilantro, black pepper and salt and knead well.
- Grease your palm with a drop of oil. Put 1 tablespoon full mixture of potato on your palm and spread it.
- Put 1 tablespoon chicken above it, spread it a little. Now wrap the potato mixture around it to give it a shape as shown in the illustration.
- Make bites similarly using the remaining mixtures
- Insert lollipop stick inside every bite to handle it easily if you want
- Put corn flour in a flat dish
- Coat these bite completely with the corn flour one by one
- Heat a little oil in a pan. Shallow fry the bites just to make them golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot, with tomato ketchup or some other favorite sauce.
TIP: Place the fried bites over in a platter with tissue papers placed in it to absorb extra oil. Remove the tissue papers afterwards.
Use olive oil as it has healthy benefits.
