Step 1: Use specialized detergents and tools
To clean your cooking equipment, you should avoid any cleaner that is not intended for them.
Rather, you had better utilize a more specific product. A powerful detergent is preferable, but a mild one is still okay if your items are not too sturdy or too dirty.
Whatsoever, pouring liquid household cleaning agents, caustic cleaners like oven cleaner, bleach, or alkaline-based cleaning products like baking soda on your anodized pots and pans are not recommended.
Also, you need to scrub them gently with mild scouring powders such as Ajax, Barkeeper’s Friend, or Comet.
