You might have eaten the creamy and delicious fruit trifle but they are heavy as well and for weight conscious people, they are not appropriate at all. Last weekend, I invented a new recipe which was not heavy at all and equally delicious as high calorie fruit trifles. Let me share the recipe with you as well.

Ingredients
Slices of bread: 3-4
Apple: 1 (Cut into chunks)
Cooked custard: 2 cups (Of any flavor) (You may also replace it with pudding if you like)
Whipped cream: ½ cup
Cooked Jelly: 2 cups (Normally gets ready with small sized pack)
Milk: ½ cup
Sugar: 1 teaspoon
Oil: 2-3 tablespoons
Strawberry syrup: optional
Method
• Prepare jelly and put it in a flat bottom platter
• Keep it in the refrigerator to settle for half hour
• Cut the pieces of bread into rectangles and fry in the oil.
• Mix sugar in milk and pour over the fried pieces of bread
• Place the pieces in a tray
• Put in the apple chunks
• Pour a layer of custard on them
• Cover the pieces of bread completely with custard
• Pour a layer of cream on the layer of custard
• Take out the jelly from the refrigerator and cut with your favorite shaped cutter
• Put it on the layer of jelly
• Dress it with strawberry syrup at the end
• Delicious custard trifle is ready
• Put it in refrigerator for two hours before serving
